Zinc selenide windows are  common optical element, with a rectangular shape, used to separate the inside and outside of the optical system and protect the internal components. It has the characteristics of high transparency, high anti reflection, and high thermal stability. It has high transmittance in both visible and infrared bands, as well as low reflectivity and low absorption. Used in equipment such as LiDAR, optical sensors, and spectrometers as a transmission or reflection device for the optical path. It can be coated with reflective film, anti reflective film, filter film, spectroscopic film, polarizing film, and metallization film systems.
