Barium fluoride plano-convex lens is a type of positive lens used in optical systems for beam expansion, imaging, beam alignment, focusing alignment, beam alignment point light source, and other purposes. A flat convex lens with one convex surface and one flat surface, with a positive focal length, is used for applications such as reducing beam size, reducing focal length, or enlarging images. Nearly 90% optical transmittance is achieved in the spectral range of 200-9500nm. Commonly used in low-temperature refrigeration imaging systems, aerospace optical systems, and laser optical systems, lenses, beam splitters, filters, prisms, and window lenses. This material has a certain degree of water solubility and is suitable for use in dry environments.
