Zinc Selenide Biconcave Lens

Zinc selenide biconcave lens is used to change the diffusivity of the converging beam. The two sides have equal curvature radii and are used for beam expansion and projection. It has the ability to withstand thermal shock, making it an optical material in high-power CO2 laser systems. The hardness is only 2/3 of the multispectral level ZnS, and the material is relatively soft and prone to scratches. The refractive index is high, and it needs to be coated with a high hardness anti reflective film on its surface for protection.
