Metal Reflective Film

Metal reflective films are usually composed of a single metal layer, which can be plated with metals such as gold, silver, and aluminum, and have the advantages of high reflectivity and wide spectral range. Generally, metals have a high extinction coefficient. When a beam of light is incident from air onto a metal surface, the amplitude of the light entering the metal rapidly decays, resulting in a corresponding decrease in the energy entering the metal and an increase in the reflected energy. The larger the extinction coefficient, the faster the attenuation of light amplitude, the less light energy enters the metal interior, and the higher the reflectivity. Protecting aluminum: The commonly used metal thin material in the ultraviolet region is aluminum, while aluminum (and silver) are commonly used in the visible light region. Protecting Silver: Gold and silver are commonly used in the infrared region. Protective gold: It has reflectivity in the infrared light region after 0.65 microns.
