Antireflective Film+DLC Diamond Like Film

Diamond like carbon coating is a highly durable anti reflective optical coating. It has a high hardness, low friction surface, resistance to scratches and corrosion, and good transmission performance in medium to long wave infrared radiation. These characteristics make it one of the choices for thermal imaging and other defense applications. Applied in mechanical, electronic, optical, medical, aerospace and other fields. The DLC film exhibits good broadband transmittance at infrared wavelengths, but the average transmittance is slightly lower compared to the standard BBAR coating. To reduce light loss, DLC films are usually paired with traditional AR coatings. UM OPTICS can provide BBAR+DLC coating for silicon and germanium substrates.
